The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ Sanding Disc 775L cuts up to two times faster and lasts up to six times longer than conventional abrasives. Our film discs are ideal for a variety of applications primarily focused on material removal, and can be used effectively on a wide range of substrates.

Use 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ Disc 775L, 150 mm, 400+, Multi Hole

Use the 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ Sanding Disc 775L for better tear resistance than paper discs. Our discs grind up to two times faster and last up to six times longer than conventional abrasives. The hole pattern on Clean Sanding products dissipates dust faster than products with five or six holes. Sanding discs grind better and last longer when dust does not get on the cutting surface of the abrasives. This design does not require the holes to line up with holes in the sanding pad, allowing you to replace discs quickly and easily.

Thanks to the open scatter, there is space between the sanding grains so that dust and other sanding residue can be better disposed of. As a result, the cutting edges of the grains are less likely to get clogged. The anti-clogging coating allows the disc to keep grinding for a long time, even when you are grinding soft wood, paint and other materials, which usually cause discs to clog quickly so that the sanding capacity decreases. Our film discs contain abrasive grains that are pre-formed into triangular calibrated abrasive points (3M Precision Shaped Grain) that cut through metal like a knife, instead of grooving or gouging like traditional abrasives. These points continually sharpen themselves as small pieces break off, cutting through material extremely quickly.

3M offers a complete line of Hookit Velcro discs for job sites where self-adhesive discs can become contaminated by dust or dirt. Hookit discs typically provide a finer finish than adhesive discs, and are therefore often used in applications where a 3M™ Stikit™ Disc may be too aggressive. Our sanding discs are ideal for a variety of material removal applications, and can be used effectively on a wide range of substrates, including metals, composite materials, coated and soft wood. Hookit Sanding Discs are easily attached with Velcro to a support pad (sold separately). They can be easily removed and reused throughout their useful life. For maximum dust removal, use with 3M Elite eccentric sanders and 3M Hookit Clean Sanding pads (both sold separately).
