3M Roloc Sanding Disc
3M Roloc Sanding Disc, The professional quick-change sanding system from 3M™, offers a wide range of different sanding products that can be changed with a simple quarter turn, without the use of tools, can be changed. This effective and easy to system consists of backing pads in various diameters and the program of abrasive products specially developed for this purpose. The Roloc system is to be used exclusively with Roloc backing pads.
The name Roloc is a brand name of 3M. Other manufacturers often have a similar system under the name quick-change or quick-release system. So the name Roloc mainly says something about the way of clamping.
Then there are different possibilities in terms of sanding discs.
3M Roloc Sanding Disc, the options:
1. 3M 984F Roloc sanding disc Faster sanding under less pressure with 3M™ Precision Shaped Grain. Cubitron II
2. 3M 787C Roloc abrasive disc Powerful cutting action and cuts quickly through metals such as stainless steel and alloys with high nickel content
3. 3M 782C Roloc abrasive disc Premium grade mineral excels in intensive applications
4.3M 361F Roloc sanding disc features aluminum oxide minerals, closed sprinkled
Applications: Are used with both straight and mini angle grinders, in areas where flexibility is important in operations such as deburring, welding material removal, etc.
3M Scotch-Brite Roloc abrasive disc with a reinforced web fitted with a Roloc connection5.
Applications: Ideally suited for covering up scratch patterns from fiber discs, cleaning, finishing, removing light rust, discoloration etc.
6. 3M™ Roloc EXL Unitized sanding disc: Strong, efficient wheels for cleaning, finishing and deburring larger workpieces.
Applications: Ideally suited for the rounding off set and cut edges after using abrasives.
7. 3M™ Roloc Bristle sanding disc: Flexible plastic abrasive brushes incorporating 3M Cubitron™ abrasive minerals. Ideal replacements for steel brushes. Due to unique construction safe and reliable
Applications: Removal of rust, bitumen, light scratches and burrs, welding discolorations, etc..
8. 3M™ Roloc Clean & Strip sanding disc: For general work.
Applications: Removal of rust, oxidation, welding discolorations, coatings, old paint layers, cleaning of welds, etc. Run not full.
For the quick-change system of the various 3M Roloc sanding disc, a number of rubber backing discs in various hardnesses and diameters have been developed. These backing discs give optimum support to the product during machining.
