3M tape gold 244 features a smooth yellow paper backing and a 0.085 mm thick synthetic adhesive. In particular, this tape is UV resistant and is water resistant. It has good temperature resistance (100 °C).

This tape can be used for a wide range of masking applications, especially those requiring UV resistance and clean removal, and with an optimum temperature resistance of 100 °C for 30 minutes (i.e. maritime market)
