The Scotch-Brite™ SE Surface Conditioning Disc consists of an aggressive non-woven disc for heavy-duty deburring and finishing with a convenient hook-and-loop system. Our disc uses an aluminum oxide abrasive grain for fast cutting and a fiber that conforms well so edges and contoured surfaces hold their shape.

For efficient heavy-duty deburring, sanding, polishing and finishing, use 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ SE Surface Conditioning Disc with an aluminum oxide abrasive grain. Many industrial professionals prefer aluminum oxide because of its high cutting speed and long life. It is a strong, durable abrasive material that continually self-degrades during use so that new cutting edges are always created, unlike traditional abrasive grains, such as garnet, which wear out quickly during use. It also retains little heat and is ideal for grinding, sanding and finishing. Our aluminum oxide disc is suitable for use on numerous substrates in both wood and metalworking, including ferroalloys. Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives are unique surface conditioning products with abrasive grains embedded in non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers. Because abrasive grains are combined with fibers in this way, it creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the product life. The open web material remains cool during use and is full-flow resistant. As a result, the fibers are less likely to clog and the abrasive minerals remain high performing.
